WELCOME TO NOTIONESE
Hi there! I’m Mike Bennett, and I'm excited to share my journey with you.
For 17 years, I navigated the vast world of IT, traversing the dynamic and chaotic landscape of cutting edge technology. And as time passed, it began to take a toll on me; heart, body, and mind. I was thoroughly burned out.
I had dabbled in Notion, but it didn’t really click early on. Later, I heard it referred to as a second brain and my burned out self became curious.
Soon, I found myself immersed in Notion, invaded by newfound passion for productivity and innovation. It became my creative playground, and helped me track and bring order to all of the chaos. It was like untangling a multi-threaded knot.
I realized Notion was more than a tool, it’s like a language—a language that bridges order and chaos; a language of organization, and creativity, and beauty. I came to call this language, “Notionese”. And one day, I thought to myself, “Isn’t it nice to be fluent in Notionese!”
That was it. Notionese was born and I set out to share the wonders of Notionese with others. Armed with over 5 years of experience and certifications in Notion Essentials and Notion Admin & Settings, I'm here to be your guide on your own journey through the language of Notion.
